Camo pants are about to POP

ahhhhhhh I've seen a few camo appearances recently and believe it or not I think they're about to come back. I've personally loved them since I was a kid I always wanted a pair!

I'm gonna, as always, start with my least fave and work my way to my ultimate fave.
I know a lot of people are gonna doubt me here but take a look,

Lets start with a skinny pair,

I think the mistake people make with camo is too many patterns, because its such a complex design you don't need to over do it with belts/printed tees.

^ this look, for example, looks baaaaaaaad (as in good)
the plain crop goes perfectly and the timberlands go niceeeeely with the pants!!

What's weird about this style is this is one of the only pants where I prefer baggy! The baggy look is really hittin hard here and again looks bum with a plain top!!

Don't always opt for the classical green though! This brown baggy pair takes away the army look!

So these are my best styles for camo pants, but camo jackets also have potential - I'll do a post about them later on.

Which is your fave here ?

Peace for now :)

how to wear a crop top!

There's soo many crop top styles that I don't even know why I'm doing a general post of them, but I love them all- baggy/tight/bright/plain they're alwaaaaaaaaays winning!

Now I love so many different styles but I'm gonna run through a few of my faves/the easiest to wear!

Obviously the best place to start is plain, them high neck black ones with black jeans/leather pants are looking smart

OR you can go for a patterned one with the same trousers

The high neck gives the illusion of an improved posture without having to change anything!

This white one is also perfect for summer in a few months!

If you're really brave you can go for this next one...

BRIGHT orange, goes lovely with her skin colour. Also love the thickness of the straps and the shape of the overall crop! If you don't think you're confident enough to flex a colour this bright try the same style in black!

The next one is perfect for you tall girls,

Beautifully plain crop with a long wooly cardigan over it. Would also look mega with a long formal/oversized coat (which are on trend at the minute)

In my opinion baggy crops are perfect for that laid back/street look and can be worn for most everyday occasions.

All the ones I've shown above are all sleeveless, ironic cause my all time fave style is long sleeve, halter neck crop... like so...

This is my fave purely because of the girl at the end of the 'This is How We Do it' video, she flexes it so well!!
(you can also spot one of the dancers who's got a crop hoodie - another bum piece!!)

OHH and finally for all you creative people!! try making your own like soo.....

Anyway, that's it!
Peace B's :)

Crimped Hair

I use to laugh at crimped hair as a kid but looking back I think its a big look you know, It's deffo gonna come back in fashion soon so get a head start guys!!
I think I use to laugh because I was watching the wrong people flexin it, it always looked so forced so I ignored the ones who rocked it haaard.

See this half up look, makes their hair look sooo thick and healthy!

The best thing about crimping your hair is it suited everyone. Forget your skin colour or hair colour, or hair type, I guarantee it will suit you and also make your hair look thicker which is always a bonus

Most girls worst fear is flat hair and this is why I love this style, it adds so much volume without even needing to backcomb/ruin your hair

As always I leave my best to last ;)

my ALL time style is the pony tail crimp, I love how it keeps the curls while its all tied back and practical for you aswell!

You can do half crimped or all, both look amazing depending on what look you're trying to go for.
Hair crimpers range from around £20-£40 which I think is a bargain, I've also attached a tutorial I found helpful on youtube!

Dungarees

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR :D
bun all that cheesy ish about this year is my year reh reh reh
instead take each DAY by that day, focus on you and your productivity, believe in yourself and be confident its the only thing you need to do to be inspired.

Now allow my waffle, im gonna do a lil post on dungarees.

First of all dungarees have been in and out for generations but me personally I think they've always been a win. You normally only see them appearing in summer but I think people should fully flex them in winter, over a thick jumper with some Timbs or chunky statement creps! and complete it with a crimped hair and a beanie = perfect look.

She's got the right idea, her hair up makes her look more relaxed and like she's made no effort but still looks bum

The light denim ones look better with white though, as always that simple looks pulls through as a winner, like so...

Dungarees are all about ripped holes & being messy so if you think you can pull of this next flex then go for it!

& Finally my all time fave...

this striped set, I prefer the long ones still but I LOVE stripes, proper old $chool. All she needs is some hoops & she's on point!!

Anyway guys tell me YOUR faves!!

Peace B's

It's too early in my blog's new life and too empty for me to be doing a post on 2Pac.
I have to much to say about him but I just watched Above the Rim (sick film) and realised 2Pac, as moist as it sounds, had (or 'has' -for you fellow believers) the BEST eyelashes boiiii.

yeah im writing this only bout his lashes.

but LOOK

OK it's not as clear here but you get it. I'm tempted to do a whole post on him but I'll save that for later :)

For now go watch Above the Rim & listen to the soundtrack to put you in the mood ;)

How to rock your Timbs

Timberland boots have always been That shoe but I've clocked when some people cop their first pair they struggle with what to wear them with. Gonna throw some of my fave combinations together and hopefully help/inspire you with rocking your new pair :)....

So lets start with the traditional camel colour timb, if your looking for a starting pair I'd say this is deffo the best. My fave looks are the simple ones, the shade matches most clothing but goes nicely with the simpler choices.

Of course, its a winter shoe so it goes perfectly with layered winter outfits; parkas, baggy hoodies etc

Ri also rocked this leather parka which is a SICK timbs combo, the parkas available in River Island

It doesn't mean you cant flex them in summer though, cause they're chunky they look nice with plain tops/casual look and chunky handbags.

On the summery vibes you can also rock them with WHITE jeans, they look BUM

Another pair that's blown recently is the ALL BLACK. Look fressh with white knee high socks

But also black leather pants! black on black on black

If you aren't a fan of the camel colours I'd advise all black, BUT if you're reaally brave and want ratings THESE are beautiful, the gold chain competes the whole look and would look perf with a whole black outfit. The only problem is they wouldn't match everything which is why I personally prefer the all black.

AND LAST, all pink,  absolutely love baby pink and think they're a classic and luckily one of the few everyone doesn't own. Even though they're baaby pink they surprisingly go with a lot of things. Try light grey jeans and a cheeter fur coat for a sick combo.

So they're my faves! Anything I forgot? Hit me up!

Peace :)

The Beginning

WA$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$UP!!

Welcome to my new blog old$choollivin! My aim is to REMIND you of the best of the best, make it easier to live in the past (in a good way).
Fashion/music and most things these days aren't up to the standards they use to be and I think reminiscing is fun.

So enjoy, and watch this space.
